Position Summary: As a Coolant Technician you will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the coolant recovery system, CNC machines coolant tank and PM schedules. Must be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow company policy standards for safety and conduct. Position Responsibilities: Maintain coolant recovery system, Smart Skim unit. Monitor coolant percentages in the Smart Skim and CNC equipment. Maintain CNC machine coolant tanks and repair coolant pumps. Sump and clean coolant tanks Maintain hydraulic systems. Maintain filter bag by cleaning and replacing filter as required. Help with general clean up. Assist in additional tasks as directed by maintenance team. Perform PM scheduled tasks. Safely driving a forklift with light loads at ground level. Ensure that all safety requirements are always followed. Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required: Mechanically inclined Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives. Prior experience with power and hand tools Position Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability in industrial maintenance Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Activity Constantly - 6+ hours : Stand, Walk, Twist/Turn, Stoop/Bend, Squat, Kneel, Reach above shoulder Frequently - 3 to 6 hrs. : Drive/Operate PIV Occasionally - 1 to 3 hrs. : Lift to 50 lbs.
