What you'll do
- Perform routine maintenance, including inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment and facilities
- Conduct preventative maintenance
- Respond to maintenance requests involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Collaborate with other departments to support their maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Participate in emergency response procedures
What you need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to be on-call for emergency situations
- Vocational or technical training in maintenance or a related field (preferred)

Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, repairing, and troubleshooting hospital equipment and facility.
Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of the hospital.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests, addressing issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
Collaborate with other departments to support their maintenance needs and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment updates.
Participate in emergency response procedures and contribute to a safe and secure hospital environment.

Adept at reading blueprints and schematics
Versatility in electrical and plumbing systems

Outstanding judgment and problem-solving skills

Possession of a valid driver's license
Excellent interpersonal skills for collaborating with a diverse team
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to be on-call for emergency situations.
M-F 8am-4:30pm with rotating call
