What you'll do
- Maintains facility and ground providing a safe and clean-living environment
- Conducts monthly inspections of the facility including buildings, grounds, and vehicles
- Troubleshoots and corrects dangerous conditions immediately
- Serves as safety officer and provides training on safety procedures
- Keeps all equipment in safe working conditions
- Maintains facility maintenance and grounds, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, millworks & grounds
- Conducts inventory of maintenance and cleaning supplies and submits list to the Executive Director
- Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels
What you need
- High School Diploma/GED
- First Aid/CPR
- Mandt
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must pass a drug screen, MVR, MS State Background Check and Child Abuse and Neglect Central Registry Clearance Check
- Pass a physical examination & TB Skin Test
- Lifting Requirements of 50 lbs
- Valid Mississippi Driver’s License and Clear Driving Record

Maintains facility and ground providing a safe and clean-living environment for clients and staff.
Conducts monthly inspections of the facility including buildings, grounds, and vehicles.
Troubleshoots and corrects dangerous conditions immediately.
Serves as safety officer and provides training on safety procedures during monthly staff meetings.
Keeps all equipment in safe working conditions.
Ensure driveways, sidewalks and common areas are free of debris.
Maintains all facility maintenance and grounds, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, millworks & grounds.
Cleans air conditioners, vents, and filters on furnace.
Conducts inventory of all maintenance and cleaning supplies and submits list to the Executive Director.
Maintains utility closets and keeps them free of debris and clutter.
Must interact properly with individuals who receive Supported Employment Services.
Serves as a role model and source of feedback to the client.
Capable of being on call for emergency transportation.
Serves as Infection Control/Environment of Care Instructor.
Capable of being on call for emergency transportation.
Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
Ensures clients’ rights are protected.
Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.
Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), rules, personnel policies, and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state, and local rules, statutes, regulations, and all term of the contracts.
