Work Location: Denver, CO Work Hours: Full-time   Position Highlights: * Paid training in mammography with industry leader in women’s healthcare * Employment guaranteed following passing mammography registry Here is what you will need: * Completion of a formal radiologic technology training program and hold current certification by ARRT in Radiography; * An interest in training in mammography as an advanced modality * Ability to read, write, and comprehend medical terminology; * Ability to stand for long periods of time   A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist Trainee: * Trains with their preceptor to consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique; * Learns to prepare for and assist the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies. * Learns to produce high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate. * Develops the ability to effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health; * Maintains patient-first focus and exhibits outstanding customer service skills   Why Solis Mammography? * A Great Place to Work for the fourth year in a row! * Benefit offerings will vary by employment type but can include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO, Paid Holidays, Backup Child/Adult Care as well as other unique benefits. * Hourly rate between $34 and $42 per hour, commensurate with experience.
