As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Market Application Specialist to join our team . You will be responsible for the activities in the R&D Agriculture program and provide technical support to customers. What You’ll Be Doing: Be part of a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter. Responsible for maintaining quality standards in the department. · Provide high level technical support to agriculture customers in a defined application area, involving customer visiting and carrying out experimental programs. · Assume position of key technical lead and specified customers. Build relationships with key technical decision makers and influencers to persuade customers to include Croda products in their approval programs. · Be recognized as an authority in a defined market/product area. Promote Croda’s image through presentations at trade exhibitions and conferences. · Provide product support and guidance to customers according to the regional and global development plans. Develop solutions to the customer problems which are sometimes complex and not always with a complete data set. · Provide training to the sales team, agents, and customers. · Coach and develop staff through effective use of performance management techniques. · Allocate short- and medium-term projects (from a few days to more than one year) to self and other members of the team. · Plan, run, and monitor progress on all projects to deliver results on time. · Have a creative and viable approach to support new product launches and existing product ranges, including development of new test methodologies, and creation of novel finished formulations for promotional means. · Identify opportunities for new projects. · Enhanced knowledge of market areas and relevant scientific techniques and communication with the business as appropriate. Education and Certifications: · Degree in relevant discipline such as chemistry, marketing, or other related scientific discipline.
