What you'll do
- Develop member communications strategies and tactical plans
- Implement member communications strategies and tactical plans
What you need
- Requires a bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience in marketing communications strategy and implementation
- Experience in health insurance or another highly regulated industry, including health literacy experience, strongly preferred
- Knowledge of health insurance marketing, healthcare education, and/or behavior change principes and practices preferred
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop, implement, and evaluate marketing plans and processes, including identifying opportunities for improvement
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong cross-functional project and organization leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders and decisionmakers
- Self-directed and results-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency with advanced features of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with Adobe Workfront, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Jira, Smartsheet, and/or Lucid is a plus

The Member Marketing team is focused on educating members about their benefits, encouraging utilization and reminding them to actively participate in their health journey. The Marketing Communications Specialist, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Member Health Marketing Communications. In this role you will develop and implement member communications strategies and tactical plans that encourage members to change health behaviors and take actions to improve their health.
