This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, in Aurora, CO, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new lighting products and support all technical aspects of the products in our portfolio.
Conduct mechanical and electrical testing to ensure product reliability and safety.
Validate electrical components, such as drivers and sensors, to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Validate multiple components into a cohesive product design
Own the laboratory testing environment to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise and during the course of product development and maintenance.

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Experience working with electrical testing equipment including thermocouples, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Experience with CAD design and mechanical systems analysis
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

This internship could lead to an at will full-time role in Signify.
Pay Rate: $23 - $29 per hour (based on year of study)
