More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, in Aurora, CO, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new lighting products and support all technical aspects of the products in our portfolio. Conduct mechanical and electrical testing to ensure product reliability and safety. Validate electrical components, such as drivers and sensors, to ensure compliance with industry standards. Validate multiple components into a cohesive product design Own the laboratory testing environment to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise and during the course of product development and maintenance. More about you While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening: Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems Experience working with electrical testing equipment including thermocouples, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc. Experience with CAD design and mechanical systems analysis Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel *Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs. This internship could lead to an at will full-time role in Signify.
