What you'll do
- <ul><li>Welcome and check in patients in a friendly, professional manner </li><li>Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars </li><li>Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries </li><li>Verify insurance eligibility and obtain authorizations when needed </li><li>Collect co-pays, balances, and payments </li><li>Enter and update patient information accurately in EMR </li><li>Confirm appointments and manage daily schedules </li><li>Coordinate communication between patients and clinical staff </li><li>Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards </li></ul>
What you need
- <ul><li><strong>1+ year medical front desk or receptionist experience preferred</strong> </li><li>Dermatology or specialty practice experience a plus </li><li>Strong customer service and communication skills </li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Basic computer and EMR experience preferred </li><li>Professional appearance and positive attitude </li><li>Reliable and punctual team player </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p><ul><li>Full-time </li><li>Monday – Friday </li><li>No weekends </li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Pay & Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Pay $18.00 – $21.00 per hour, based on experience</strong> </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Paid holidays </li><li>Employee product/service discounts </li><li>Supportive team environment </li></ul><p> </p>
