Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Mental Health Specialist to join our Behavioral Health team! Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.
Position Summary:
This position will incorporate the mental health assistant duties during times when not performing the urgent care duties. This position is used to effectively triage patients into emergent and urgent care appointments. Information obtained from multiple sources and use of a triage tool will assist in appropriate placement for patients. This individual will have the primary responsibility for daily maintenance of the urgent/emergent visual control board.
This requires a variety of computer and paper tasks supporting clinical process to ensure that the data access and integrity of patient information is maintained accurately and timely for continuum of care. Ensures quality support and strong customer service skills demonstrated by timely and courteous communication and scheduling appointments. This position directly supports our mission in providing excellent personalized care and service.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Required Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
