- Upkeep the morgue area, including cleaning coolers, autopsy rooms, floors, tables, and body racking system
- Aid in the receival and release of bodies transported to and from the facility
- Rack bodies onto body racking system in morgue coolers
- Assist doctors with cremation inspections
- Assist and cross-train with forensic autopsy technicians as needed
- Aid in supply ordering, inventory, and stocking
- Clean conference rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, kitchen, and courtyard as needed
- Perform light facility maintenance as needed

Position Summary:
Morgue Assistance assignment - upkeep the morgue
area to include cleaning garage, coolers, autopsy rooms, floors, tables, and
body racking system; and perform light facility maintenance as needed.
Essential Functions:
Morgue Assistance (Duties and physical demands are representative and may vary based on assignment.)
Upkeep of the morgue area to include cleaning garage, coolers, autopsy rooms, floors, tables, and body racking system
Aid in the receival and release of bodies transported to and from the facility
Rack bodies onto body racking system in morgue coolers
Assist doctors with cremation inspections
Assist and cross-train with forensic autopsy technicians as needed
Aid in supply ordering, inventory, and stocking
Clean conference rooms, locker rooms, restrooms, and kitchen
Clean courtyard as needed
Empty trash, breakdown boxes for recycling, replace bio boxes
Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming
Receive and stock deliveries as needed
May receive, sort, and package materials
May perform routine and non-routine cleaning services to restrooms
Perform light facility maintenance as needed
