- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Experience: Required 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, for Critical Care units, 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start | For Critical Care Units: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Within 6 Months | For Pediatric Units: Pediatric Advanced Life Support- Within 6 Months | For Infusion Center Units: Obtain chemo card- within 3 months of hire
- Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
- Two years of recent inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) experience on a Postpartum Unit.
What you need
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing; ADN holders must complete BSN within 5 years
- 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association upon start
- Critical care units: 1 year of RN experience in critical care or completion of a critical care fellowship
- Critical care units: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support within 6 months
- Two years of recent inpatient RN experience on a Postpartum Unit (preferred)
- Education: a bachelor's degree, an associate degree or a professional certificate

Inova Fairfax Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the postpartum unit. This role will be Full-time Night Shift: 3x12 hour shifts per week, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. Relocation assistance eligible.
