Job Description About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking an Operational Accounting Associate in our Chief Operating Office, Reconciliation team. In this role, you will: Perform operational accounting activities related to account reconcilement and maintenance Provide operational accounting support to internal business groups or operations departments to ensure that accounts are being managed within the account policy requirements Prepare and review account reconciliations and certifications Perform customer account maintenance duties Evaluate the operational accounting transactions and maintenance of operational accounting controls Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Required Qualifications: 6+ months of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Desired Qualifications: Retail banking with branch transaction experience Research and resolve moderately complex accounting issues and exceptions experience Experience aggregating data from multiple systems of record including Hogan and Common Recon Receivable or accounts payable experience Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Customer service experience Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Job Expectations: Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (Arizona Time) On-Site Training Requirement: This position requires full-time, on-site attendance during training and until the manager confirms the employee has successfully completed the training period. The length of this period is determined by individual progress and business needs and may extend for several months. Hybrid Work Schedule: After manager approval and successful completion of training, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule of three (3) days per week in the office and two (2) days per week remote.
