Lawhive is a global, AI-native law firm. Operating in the US and UK, we’ve built our own agentic operating system for legal services. We partner with leading Main Street law firms to give lawyers and back-office teams the AI platform, marketing, and operational support to grow faster than they could alone. Our specialized AI agent for legal work, Lawrence, works alongside lawyers, putting human legal judgment right where it belongs: at the center of every matter. We’re backed by a $60M Series B at a $685M valuation, from investors including Google Ventures, TQ Ventures, Mitch Rales, Balderton Capital and Premier League footballers Harry Maguire and Reece James. In the last few years we’ve hit milestone after milestone, raising over $110M in funding. Today, we’re on track to exceed $100 million in annual revenue, and we have offices in London, New York, Austin, and Phoenix.

So if you want your work to have real, tangible impact as we redefine an entire industry, Lawhive is where you can make it happen. THE ROLE We’re growing rapidly across the US by partnering with established law firms and transforming how they operate. Through Lawhive MSO, we partner with established law firms to provide the operational support they need to run their businesses. Back-office employees at these firms are employed through Lawhive MSO’s PEO partnership with TriNet. They need responsive, reliable People support during US business hours, from someone who understands their needs and can help resolve issues quickly. As our Operations Associate, you’ll be the main point of contact for employees across Lawhive MSO’s partner firms, taking ownership of the day-to-day administration of the TriNet relationship. You’ll handle queries relating to payroll, benefits, onboarding, leave, and other employment matters, working directly with TriNet to ensure employees receive the support they need. You’ll also support the onboarding of new partner firms, making sure employees are set up correctly and transitions run smoothly. You’ll be working closely with our MSO, Finance and Ops team in New York as well as our People team in London. This is an opportunity to take ownership of an important part of our US operations and help build the processes that support Lawhive MSO as it grows. WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS - You’ll keep our partner firms running smoothly. Act as the main point of contact between employees at our partner firms and our PEO provider, Trinet, helping resolve questions and issues related to payroll, benefits, and HR administration. - Supporting employees through key moments: Guide employees through key moments like joining Lawhive, enrolling in benefits, and navigating changes to their employment, making the process as simple and seamless as possible. - You’ll be at the center of firm transitions. Support the HR and administrative side of bringing new partner firms onto our PEO arrangement, ensuring employees are set up correctly and the transition runs smoothly. - You’ll build, not just maintain. You’ll create the processes and use AI and automation to make each new firm onboarding faster and simpler than the last, and grow with the role as the network expands. WHAT YOU’LL BRING - 1+ years in an operations role in a high-growth environment. Ideally with hands-on experience in HR administration and benefits enrollment. - Experience working with a PEO or HR platform. You’ve used providers like TriNet, Justworks, Rippling, Insperity or ADP TotalSource, and know how to get things done with them. - Sharp attention to detail. Comfortable managing payroll processes, employee records, and benefits enrollment, with a high level of accuracy. - Clear, calm communication. You’re confident working with employees, managers and external providers, and people trust you to handle their questions. - A bias to action. You pick things up quickly, take ownership and figure things out without waiting to be told. - Discretion. You handle confidential employee information with care and good judgment. - An AI-native mindset. You’re excited to use AI tools to cut manual work and move faster. BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE - Working knowledge of US employment basics across multiple states (leave, wage and hour, benefits eligibility). - Experience supporting integrations, transitions or a fast-scaling business. - Experience in a law firm, professional services or MSO environment. Interview process - Introductory call with our Talent team - First stage interview - Values interview with one of our Founders - We offer! Benefits - 🩺 Healthcare benefits: ‘Premium’ plan with 100% employee cover and 50% dependent cover - ✈️ Vacation: 20 days + 11 Federal holidays + 1 day of Birthday leave - 💰 401k: Matching contribution up to 2% of salary - 💰 Meaningful early-stage share options - 🌍 Work from anywhere for a month - 💻 Top-spec Macbook - ⛳️ Regular team building activities and socials! Diversity at Lawhive At Lawhive we know that diversity of thought is critical to delivering outlier outcomes. As such, we’re always working hard to ensure we build a diverse, inclusive team. We’re not yet where we want to be but as we scale we’ll only ever increase the focus we apply to this.
