Responsibilities: Assist providers in performing clinical functions such as ophthalmic procedures, room flow, and status communication to the patient and provider Ensure the patient understands all instructions. Take and document patients' medical histories. Operates ophthalmic equipment Sterilize instruments and maintain ophthalmic instruments or equipment. Requirements Basic knowledge of medical terminology Problem-solving math skills Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite or G-Suite Effectively work in a team environment. Demonstrated multitasking and adaptability Strong interpersonal skills Comfortable with communication via phone, internet, and in-person Ability to maintain and follow HIPAA procedures and policies Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent One (1) year of experience as an ophthalmic assistant preferred Benefits: Competitive Salary $20.00 -$29.00 Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Robust Ancillary Benefits 401(k) Plan with employer contribution Company Paid Life Insurance Generous PTO/Holiday EEO Statement
