Program: Adult LGBTQIA+ Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PMCompensation: $53,000–$57,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and licensure About High Focus Centers High Focus Centers is a leading provider of outpatient treatment for mental health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders. Our compassionate clinical teams provide individualized, evidence-based care in a supportive environment focused on helping clients build healthier, more fulfilling lives. Our Center City, Philadelphia location offers a specialized Adult LGBTQIA+ Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for individuals experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This trauma-informed, person-centered program provides a safe, affirming environment where clients can explore their experiences related to sexuality, gender identity, and sexual orientation while developing skills to support recovery and emotional wellness. Our strength-based approach emphasizes individualized care, inclusivity, and the development of healthy coping strategies. Family and caregiver involvement is also encouraged, with monthly family sessions designed to help address challenges and strengthen support systems. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Outpatient Therapist to provide high-quality clinical care within our Adult LGBTQIA+ IOP. In this role, you will facilitate group therapy, conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and support adults navigating mental health and substance use challenges. The ideal candidate is passionate about behavioral healthcare, values inclusive and affirming treatment, and is committed to helping clients make meaningful progress toward recovery. Key Responsibilities Facilitate IOP group therapy sessions using trauma-informed, LGBTQIA+-affirming approaches for adults with co-occurring disorders Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and insurance reviews Coordinate care with families, caregivers, referral sources, and external providers as appropriate Maintain a minimum of 25 billable sessions per week while supporting overall program needs Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives Support clients in developing healthy coping strategies, strengthening emotional regulation, and progressing toward treatment goals Complete additional clinical responsibilities as needed to support program operations Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Mental Health, or a related field from an accredited institution Completion of a clinical internship or practicum Previous experience facilitating group therapy in an outpatient behavioral health setting preferred Familiarity with IOP levels of care and evidence-based treatment modalities Professional licensure preferred but not required, including LPC, LCSW, or LMFT Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and within multidisciplinary treatment teams Commitment to providing culturally competent, inclusive, and affirming care to the LGBTQIA+ community Strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills Why Join High Focus Centers?
