We may be the right fit for you if… Your goals are to * Pursue a facilities management, drafting, architecture, engineering, or construction related career * Gain experience creating technical building documentation used to support occupant safety and emergency preparedness  * Acquire hours needed for licensure or certification * Develop your professional skills and expand your professional network  * Enjoy a position that balances work and life * Work in a wholesome environment that offers fitness facilities and wellness programs * Save a little with numerous employee discounts, including supplemented mass transit passes, technology, travel, and financial services discounts * Have a flexible schedule Monday through Friday * Internship Length: 12 months, 20-28 hours per week, part-time * Earn $23.50 RESPONSIBILITIES You can see yourself  * As a member of a facilities planning and design team working to achieve the highest quality results and finding ways to improve * Developing and maintaining building evacuation plans, life safety diagrams, and emergency information for a portfolio of 66+ existing and historic buildings totaling over 9.8 million square feet along the Wasatch Front * Interpreting building floor plans and field information to accurately document evacuation routes, emergency exits, fire safety equipment, areas of refuge, and other life safety features * Using Revit to create clear, user-friendly building documentation * Verifying building conditions and maintaining facility information to ensure evacuation plans remain accurate and current * Supporting facility planning initiatives through drafting, documentation, and data management tasks * Taking responsibility for assignments that require initiative and working with moderate supervision   If you are interested in joining us as we “seek to bring forth and establish the cause of Zion” please apply. QUALIFICATIONS Your background and qualifications include * You are a current student or have graduated within the last 12 months with a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in facilities management, drafting, construction, architecture, engineering, or a related field * 1+ years of experience using Revit, required * Strong attention to detail * Effective verbal and written communication, ability to communicate information clearly thru graphics and technical documents Church employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work.
