Patient Care & Experience Specialist (Cosmetic Medical Assistant) NOVA Plastic Surgery & Dermatology | Ashburn & Tysons, VA | Full-time Love skincare? Love people? Want to be paid for results? At NOVA, skincare and medical care go together, and so do great patient care and great sales. We're hiring a Patient Care & Experience Specialist: part medical assistant, part skincare advisor. You'll be a big reason our patients love their results and keep coming back. You'll work with board-certified plastic surgeons and experienced PAs. We have three Northern Virginia locations: NOVA Plastic Surgery in Ashburn, SkinLab in Ashburn, and The Boro in Tysons. You'll work at one or two of them, and we'll decide which together with you up front. You'll be in the room for the transformations, help patients choose the right plan, and capture the before-and-afters that show what we do. What you'll do Own the patient journey. You're with each patient from booking to follow-up. You'll call them before their visit, welcome them, give a tour, and be the familiar face they look for every time they come back. Combine skin science with treatment plans. You'll run VISIA skin analyses, recommend medical-grade skincare, and present the provider's treatment plan with clear quotes and financing options. Assist in the clinic. You'll prep patients and rooms, apply numbing, assist providers during procedures, draw blood for PRF, chart in the EMR, and keep the clinic running on time. Turn good advice into booked plans. At NOVA, good advice is selling. You'll help patients commit with confidence to treatments ranging from a few hundred dollars to several thousand, and book their next visit before they leave. Create content. You'll shoot before-and-after photos and video, do light editing, and send scroll-stopping content to our marketing team. Follow up with pleasant persistence. You'll reach out to patients by phone, text, and email, follow every open plan until it's resolved, and keep provider schedules full. Who you are You have a Bachelor's degree, or you're a Licensed or Master Aesthetician. You're energetic, upbeat, and genuinely love talking to people. You're motivated by commission and goals, and you like seeing your effort show up in your paycheck. You're comfortable talking about price and asking patients to move forward, without being pushy. You're organized and detail-oriented, and you understand that this is a medical office. You're comfortable with cameras, imaging equipment, and social media content. Bonus points: medical assistant experience in dermatology or plastic surgery, sales experience in medical-grade skincare, med spa, or luxury retail, or any med spa background. What's in it for you Compensation: hourly pay plus commissions, and top earners make over $70,000 a year.
