Plating Technician

Primary Responsibilities: Review setup, blueprints, and work order instructions to determine plating requirements and equipment settings. Load and unload production panels from plating lines. Set up, operate, and monitor plating equipment, including automated copper plating lines and other electroplating machinery. Monitor and adjust process parameters to maintain product quality. Perform quality checks to ensure product conformance to specifications Conduct routine maintenance on plating equipment and replace filter materials as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols for chemical handling. Work collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and other team members to ensure efficient production flow. Maintain accurate records of production output, parameters, and quality inspection results. Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Preferably experience with PCB plating processes in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in using measuring tools and equipment. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for extended periods Basic computer skills for operating machinery controls. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
