PORTABLE TOILET EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Description Position Information: With keen attention to detail, the Equipment Technician will conduct the maintenance, cleaning, and preparation of portable toilets and related equipment. Position Responsibilities: Cleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, supplies, portable toilets and handwashing stations. Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts. Orders and installs replacement parts for equipment. Repairs broken equipment quickly and efficiently. Prepares reports documenting work performed. Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on equipment. Attends training classes as directed by management. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: High school diploma, or the equivalent preferred. Qualifications: Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills. Subject to pre-employment and random drug testing. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Work independently. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to read, write, and comprehend instructions and information in English. Ability to use hand tools, pressure washer, and other equipment. Ability to use personal computer and hand-held applications. Ability to work flexible shifts/hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, at varying locations. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to multitask in a fast pace and high-volume environment. Attention to detail. Must present a professional, friendly image and appearance. Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance. Physical Demands: Finger and hand dexterity. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. May be exposed to extremes of hot or cold weather in addition to wet environments. Noise levels are distracting or uncomfortable. Job requires the following motions: climbing, stooping, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, squatting, occasional lifting; up to 75 pounds, stretching, sitting, walking on uneven ground and stairs. Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
