Production Specialist - Days

Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM Hourly Rate: $20.85 an hour Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will safely process and package food that meets food safety and quality requirements at our North Mankato, Minnesota facility. This is a non-seasonal, full-time, year-round position with holiday pay, 401K, medical, prescription, dental and vision benefits. A Taste of Your Responsibilities Maintain a clean and organized production area to promote a safe work environment. Follow processing specifications for varying products and materials. Inspect products and remove defective product from the production and packaging line. Clean and sanitize production equipment as necessary. Identify and set up the correct raw materials, recipes and utensils for each product. Complete exact measurements according to recipes to ensure product standards are met. Operate multiple electric kettles simultaneously. Remove popped corn from kettles and dispense it into bins. Assemble corrugate items into cases or displays, package bags and palletize finished products according to specifications. Operate pallet jacks and electric pallet wrappers. Ingredients Required for Your Success Follow established recipes, processing specifications and product standards. Maintain food safety, quality and sanitation standards. Work safely in a manufacturing environment while supporting production and packaging activities. Please be aware that in a manufacturing environment, the noise levels can be high and the temperatures may vary. Depending on the role, physical and environmental requirements can differ but include: Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time. Performing consistent repetitive tasks. Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
