Programmatic Campaign SpecialistFull-time | Hybrid | New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, or Shreveport
Position summaryThe Programmatic Campaign Specialist builds and launches our clients' programmatic advertising campaigns in DV360, The Trade Desk, and Amazon DSP. You take an approved media plan and turn it into a live, correctly targeted, correctly tracked campaign, fast and without errors.
This is a full-time, hybrid role on the Advertising Operations team. It can be based in any of our four markets. You will work closely with account managers, campaign strategists, and the reporting team, and you will own the setup checklist from insertion order to first impression.
Reports to: Direct Sold Team Lead
Job type: Full-time, hybrid
What you'll doBuild campaigns, insertion orders, and line items in DV360, The Trade Desk, and Amazon DSP from approved media plans and insertion orders.
Set up targeting exactly as sold: geography, audience segments, contextual and keyword lists, dayparting, device, inventory and deal IDs, frequency caps, and brand-safety settings.
Traffic creative across display, video, native, audio, and connected TV. Upload assets, apply click-through URLs and tracking, and confirm every creative passes platform review before launch.
Apply conversion tracking, Floodlight tags, pixels, and UTM conventions so every campaign reports correctly in our dashboards from day one.
Enter budgets, flight dates, pacing, and bid strategies that match the order, and double-check them against the insertion order before activation.
Run a pre-launch QA checklist on every campaign and sign off that it is live and delivering within the first 24 hours.
Make mid-flight changes quickly: budget shifts, creative swaps, added geos, paused line items, and extensions, with a note on what changed and why.
Watch delivery and pacing on your campaigns and flag underdelivery, disapproved creative, or tracking gaps to the account team the same day.
Keep campaign naming, folder structure, and setup documentation consistent so reporting and billing reconcile without manual cleanup.
Turn around a high volume of setups and change requests against daily deadlines while keeping an accurate log of what is in queue, in progress, and live.
Stay current on platform updates, new ad formats, and inventory sources, and recommend process improvements to the team.
What you bring2+ years of hands-on experience trafficking or managing programmatic campaigns in at least one of DV360, The Trade Desk, or Amazon DSP, and the ability to learn the others quickly.
Exceptional attention to detail. You catch the wrong geo, the missing pixel, or the mismatched flight date before the client does.
Speed under volume. You can set up several campaigns a day, juggle change requests, and hit deadlines without letting accuracy slip.
Working knowledge of ad serving, creative specs, VAST and VPAID video, conversion tracking, and UTM tagging.
Comfort working in spreadsheets and ticketing systems to track orders, assets, and status across many campaigns at once.
Clear written communication. You confirm what you set up, document what you changed, and ask a precise question when an order is unclear.
Ability to take direction, follow a checklist, and self-check your own work.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Nice to haveExperience in all three platforms: DV360, The Trade Desk, and Amazon DSP.
Google Marketing Platform or Trade Desk Edge certifications.
Familiarity with Google Ad Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, or Campaign Manager 360.
Experience with private marketplace deals, connected TV, and retail media.
Background at a media company, agency, or trading desk serving local or regional advertisers.
Basic understanding of reporting and analytics tools such as Looker Studio, GA4, or SQL-based dashboards.
Location and scheduleThis is a hybrid position. You will split your week between one of our offices and remote work, with in-office days set by your manager and the team's launch calendar.
You can be based in any of our four markets: New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, or Shreveport. Candidates must live within commuting distance of one of those offices.
