What you need
- High school diploma or GED required; previous quality, inspection, or manufacturing experience preferred. FRP/composite manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, specifications, and quality requirements and accurately document inspection and test results.
- Basic math, computer, and measurement skills; experience with inspection or testing equipment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.
- Ability to work assigned shifts of up to 12 hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as business needs require.
- Remain active throughout shifts of up to 12 hours, including periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
- Frequently bend, reach, twist, stoop, and move throughout production and inspection areas while performing quality activities.
- Safely handle required inspection tools, testing equipment, samples, and materials.
- Wear required PPE and work safely in conditions that may include seasonal temperatures, noise, dust, and other conditions typical of a manufacturing environment.

NOV's Andrews plant is seeking a Quality Inspector to support the manufacture of fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) tanks. The Quality Inspector will inspect materials, in-process work, and finished products; record results; maintain product traceability; and help address quality issues.
We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, safety-minded, comfortable using measurement tools, and able to follow drawings and work instructions. Manufacturing or inspection experience is preferred; FRP or composites experience is a plus.
