What you'll do
- Direct incoming calls to the correct department or individual
- Take messages for the appropriate department or individual
- Greet and assist visitors and applicants
- Assist customers at the walk-in counter
- Sort and file paperwork for departments
- Open and close the front lobby
- Perform light cleaning duties in the front lobby and office areas
- Update the phone directory as needed
What you need
- At least 18 years of age
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous reception, clerical, or administrative experience (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
- Ability to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills (preferred)
- Ability to multi-task and handle a large call volume (preferred)
