Refrigeration Maintenance (1st Shift)-Gadsden, AL

Job Details: What to expect: Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing equipment and company assets. You can expect to be on your feet in a fast-paced factory environment. Because we are working with meat, we work in 38–42-degree temps. Use of Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, Ladders, Fall Protection, and Lock Out Tag Out Overtime and Weekend Work Computer based training and data entry into the SAP system. Requirements: Must have at least 6 months of industrial maintenance/refrigeration (preferred) experience withing the last 12 months and/or verifiable schooling in a relevant industrial maintenance trade in lieu of experience documented in the work history of the application (can be a combination of employers) Passing a Level 4 pulmonary function test and physical and be recertified each year to maintain position Must be clean shaven in order to get a proper fit while using SCBA equipment Rehire Criteria: Former Tyson Team Members must be separated from the company for a minimum of 180 calendar days. Also, if you have worked at Tyson 3 times or more you will not be eligible for rehire. ALL INTERNAL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONSIDERED FIRST.
