Registered Nurse Fellow (RN) Transition to Emergency - March 2027

Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced Nurse who is interested in transitioning to the ED specialty to participate in our Fellowship program that begins March 2027. Schedule option:  Full Time, Days (7am-7pm) or Mids Shifts (10am-10pm & 11am-11pm) or (1pm-1am & 3pm-3am) with weekend rotations and call. During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights). If RN has an Associate's Degree, within 2 years of date of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1.) Identify which accredited school they plan to attend 2.) Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date 3.) Submit a review of transcripts from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses 4.) Complete BSN within 5 years of start date. * License/Certification: Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. BLS from American Heart Association    Preferred Qualifications: * Experience: candidates will possess 2 years of critical care / acute care experience.  * Certifications: CEN/ACLS  * Other: Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
