What you'll do
- At least 2 years of recent Endoscopy Nurse experience to include Pre, Post and Intra Procedure experience
What you need
- One year of direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an OR fellowship
- If PACU Nurse, one year of critical care or PACU RN experience
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date
- RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- ACLS and PALS through AHA required before completion of orientation
- At least 2 years of recent Endoscopy Nurse experience to include Pre, Post and Intra Procedure experience (preferred)
- Education: a bachelor's degree, an associate degree or a professional certificate

Inova Mount Vernon is looking for PRN (as needed) Nurse for the GE Lab. We are looking for someone that is available at least once a week. You are required to take two weekend and two weekday call shifts in a six-week schedule.
Our GI team works across two endoscopy units and cares for our ECT (electroconvulsive therapy) patients three days a week (T, Th, F), taking them through pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure recovery. As a PRN nurse, you will rotate through all these areas.

Mount Vernon is a community hospital with 8 OR suites that serves the population in robotics, general, orthopedics, spine, plastics, ENT, urology, and gynecology. RN Endoscopy Qualifications
One year of direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an OR fellowship. If PACU Nurse, one year of critical care or PACU RN experience is required.
Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
RN license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
ACLS and PALS through AHA required before completion of orientation
RN Endoscopy Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of recent Endoscopy Nurse experience to include Pre, Post and Intra Procedure experience
