In the role of Right of Way Intern, we'll count on you to: Gain real-world experience on exciting infrastructure projects Learn about the acquisition of property rights and relocation of displacees and help us move projects forward Connect with staff and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs Perform assignments under the direct supervision of your manager or other professionals Perform entry-level technical services for right of way projects including but not limited to property research, ordering title, and administrative duties Support the Right of Way Team with document preparation as needed Input and track data in spreadsheets and/or a database Assist in performing records research for non-complex relocations Assist in drafting relocation notices required under the Uniform Relocation Act Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA Relevant coursework includes, but is not limited to, real estate, social science, paralegal, legal, and urban planning fields Required Qualifications Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program Attention to detail a must Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills Basic Microsoft Office skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We Believe HDR is our company.
