RN/LPN MED/SURG, Full-time Nights

*** $ 10,000 hiring bonus *** Memorial Community Hospital & Health System (MCH) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated Medical/Surgical team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care for a diverse patient population. You’ll collaborate closely with providers and fellow team members during routine care, examinations, and procedures, while promoting patient independence and wellness. Position Details: Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM), totaling 36 hours per week. Department: Medical/Surgical Unit Key Responsibilities : Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients across med/surg and skilled nursing settings. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and education. Perform assessments, develop care plans, and document patient progress. Administer medications and treatments safely via various routes. Respond to both routine and emergency patient needs. Participate in patient admissions, obtain informed consent, and complete timely documentation. Support a culture of teamwork by cross-training and floating to other nursing departments as needed. Qualifications : Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current RN or LPN license in Nebraska or Iowa (required). BLS certification (required). ACLS certification (required within 90 days of hire). BSN preferred. Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (RN or LPN) preferred.
