What you'll do
- Cleans, lubricates, and performs routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles
- Dismantles and reassembles heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools
- Operates and inspects machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects
- Overhauls and tests machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency
- Examines, repairs, and replaces damaged or worn parts
- Troubleshoots and rewires electrical systems
- Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly
- Researches, orders, and maintains inventory of parts for service and repairs
What you need
- 2-5+ years related experience or equivalent
- Ability to work independently performing in-depth technical equipment service and maintenance
- Must be able to interact with customers on a professional level
- Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to accurately take measurements, complete documentation, and reference proper standards
- Must have a clean driving record
- Experience with Caterpillar machines, pipeline specific equipment and pumps/ pumping related equipment (preferred)
- Experience with CAT E.T & John Deere Service Advisor (preferred)

Job Description:
Performs hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting/assessment, and repair work on heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
· Cleans, lubricates, performs other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles.
· Dismantles and reassembles heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools, as needed.
· Operates and inspects machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
· Overhauls and tests machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
· Examines parts for damage or excessive wear, repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts.
· Troubleshoots and rewires electrical systems.
· Tests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer’s specifications.
· Light fabrication.
· Researches, orders, and maintains the inventory of parts for service and repairs.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
· Maintains proper records in compliance with CCIS standards.
· Maintain a neat & organized work area.
· Perform all tasks in a safe manner.
· Perform additional duties as assigned
· Maintain and clean service truck.
Qualifications
· 2-5+ years related experience or equivalent required.
· Experience with Caterpillar machines, pipeline specific equipment and pumps/ pumping related equipment preferred but not required.
· Experience with service programs such as CAT E.T & John Deere Service Advisor preferred but not required.
· Ability to work independently performing in-depth technical equipment service and maintenance.
· Commitment to excellence and high standards.

· Strong oral communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to accurately take measurements, complete documentation to ensure quality craftsmanship, and reference proper standards.
