Job Summary:
The Core Reporting team builds and runs the systems that deliver millions of financial reports to thousands of clients every month, giving them the reliable, accurate data they need for responsible financial decision-making.
We built an industry-leading GenAI platform, and now we’re using it to build a leading agentic reporting platform. We run on modern AWS infrastructure, and our challenges are scale, reliability, and data accuracy. We also apply advanced GenAI techniques to coding, client support, and triage, so we spend more of our time on the hard engineering problems.
We’re looking for curious engineers who take ownership, enjoy making complex systems dependable, and are comfortable with cloud-based SaaS.
Responsibilities:
Work on a team of other talented developers building Clearwater's most utilized product
Implement solutions that enable an order of magnitude more data throughput
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions.
Analyze large datasets, extract meaningful insights, and develop robust agentic workflows.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback, iterate on solutions, and continuously improve capabilities.
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Java a plus)
Experience building and operating distributed systems on cloud platforms, ideally AWS
Solid experience with databases and large-scale data processing, with a focus on data accuracy and quality
Experience owning SaaS services in production, including CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools and agentic development techniques
Clear communicator who works well in a team
Knowledge of FinTech, especially investment accounting, is a plus.
What We Offer
Competitive base salary and performance-based bonus.
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
A supportive and innovative work environment.
The chance to work on cutting-edge AI projects.
Flexible work arrangements, hybrid and remote options available.
Access to cutting-edge AI tools and infrastructure as part of your day-to-day work.
A collaborative, high-trust engineering culture that values craft, speed, and continuous learning.
