You'll perform residential solar electrical work, troubleshoot field issues, commission systems, and help ensure installations meet NEC, local code, and SpartanX quality standards.We're looking for electricians who know their way around residential electrical systems, can troubleshoot effectively, and are comfortable taking ownership of their work in the field.What You’ll DoInstall, wire, troubleshoot, and commission residential solar PV systemsPerform electrical work for roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar installationsInstall conduit, wiring, disconnects, breakers, and other residential electrical componentsInterpret electrical drawings, site plans, blueprints, one-lines, and system schematicsPerform work in accordance with NEC standards, local requirements, and company proceduresTroubleshoot system performance issues, inverter faults, and electrical deficienciesTest and verify system functionality and electrical safetyIdentify field conditions requiring electrical modifications or corrective workSupport installation crews onsite and maintain an efficient project workflowMaintain accurate project documentation, photos, and completion recordsCommunicate professionally with homeowners and internal Operations teamsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentWhat We’re Looking For2+ years of hands-on residential electrical experience preferredStrong understanding of residential electrical systemsProven electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityWorking knowledge of NEC requirements and safe electrical practicesExperience installing conduit, wiring, breakers, disconnects, panels, and related electrical equipmentAbility to read and interpret electrical plans, one-lines, and system documentationSolar PV experience strongly preferredAbility to work independently and make sound decisions in the fieldStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipComfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and outdoors in varying conditionsProfessional communication and customer interaction skillsValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record requiredAbility to safely lift, carry, and move equipment throughout the workdayPreferred QualificationsResidential solar installation experienceElectrical apprenticeship or formal electrical trainingOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationBattery storage experienceExperience with residential service equipment and panel workSchedulePrimarily Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday availability required.What We OfferCompetitive performance-based compensation with strong earning potentialCompany truck for work-related travelCompany gas cardCompany-provided consumable tools and suppliesConsistent full-time workOngoing technical training and developmentCareer advancement opportunities within SpartanXSupportive field and Operations teams focused on safety, quality, and successful project completionWhy SpartanX?We're looking for electricians who bring more than basic electrical exposure.
