Specialty Leasing Intern

Kimco Realty Corp. (NYSE: Kim), North America’s largest publicly traded owners and operators of open-air, grocery-anchored shopping centers and mixed-use assets, is currently seeking Interns to join our collaborative, challenging, growth oriented team. We're seeking smart, driven candidates who are passionate about beginning a career in real estate. This Summer internship will involve working approximately 40 hours per week for a duration of approximately 8 weeks, with flexible start and end dates. Interns will be paid an hourly rate of $20 an hour. Responsibilities: Support specialty leasing initiatives, including marketing efforts, data entry, prospect tracking, and deal coordination Assist with preparing, running, and reviewing reports that support specialty leasing activity and decision-making Shadow the specialty leasing team during property tours, tenant meetings, and other external meetings to gain exposure to the leasing process Assist with special projects focused on tracking leasing activity, EV charging station programs, and other potential income-generating initiatives Requirements: Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in a business oriented major, preferably with a focus in real estate Strong written, verbal and analytical skills Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of internal and external customers Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn internal systems ** Kimco Realty is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Veteran/Disability **
