*All student employment positions on campus are covered by a negotiated contract with the Union of Grinnell Student Dining Workers (UGSDW).
Duties:
SHIC members serve in a leadership capacity in which they may represent SHAW and Grinnell College, more broadly. They work with the Assistant Director of Health Promotion and Assistant Director of Mental Health Promotion to provide evidence-based sexual health programming. SHIC members are responsible for answering questions from students, overseeing the coordination of events and projects, monitoring the center’s inventory to ensure it remains well stocked, and all products are body-safe.Possesses strong interpersonal skills, works well as a team member and with diverse groups of people, possesses a positive attitude, integrity, good time management and communication skills, and the ability to problem solve and manage conflict.
