As part of our Launchpad Co-op Program, students will complete three full-time (40-hour/week) rotations across departments such as Supply & Risk Management, Finance, IT, Marketing, and Operations. Each rotation offers exposure to different analytical challenges and business functions, helping students build a strong foundation in data analysis, business strategy, and cross-functional collaboration.

Students who successfully complete all three rotations may be considered for full-time opportunities at Gas South.
Job Responsibilities

Analyze company and market data
Develop models and processes using tools like SQL, Excel, and Power BI
Perform competitive analysis and market research
Monitor business metrics and report insights to leadership
Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and deliver solutions
Prepare project documentation, presentations, and data flow diagrams
Assist in data collection and validation tasks
Tools & Technologies You May Use
SQL and SQL Server
Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools
Microsoft Azure
Microsoft Excel
Agile development environments
Programming logic or languages such as VB, Python, and R
Preferred Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with financial modeling and business case development
Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
Effective time management and multitasking abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with statistical or analytics software (e.g., R, Stata, SPSS)
Ability to synthesize complex analytics into actionable insights
Eligibility
Open to all majors, but preference will be given to students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in:
Computer Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Data Analytics or Business Intelligence
