We’re currently looking for a Staff Accountant that can bring their technical accounting and reporting competence, attention to detail, strong work ethic and organizational skills to our team. Position Summary This position will be engaged as a member of the corporate accounting, reporting, and planning team and has the potential for professional growth and advancement in the intermediate and long-term future. This role offers the opportunity to further develop accounting and reporting skills, as well as financial planning and analysis skills, in a unique and dynamic industry. Responsibilities GL accounting, reconciliation, preparation, and analysis related to operating activities Assist with preparation of management reporting and presentations Prepare balance sheet analytics Assist with monthly and quarterly accounting close processes Assist with Management, SEC and SBA reporting Assist with internal and external audit requests Special projects and ad hoc reporting as directed by supervisors Utilize Claude/Copilot AI to enhance accounting processes and technology Skills/ Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred (Master’s in Accounting or MBA is a plus) Must exhibit a strong work ethic and be willing and able to complete projects accurately under tight deadlines Should be detail oriented Should exhibit critical thinking qualities and problem-solving abilities Should exhibit strong organizational skills Should exhibit strong excel skills Why join Main Street’s growing team?
