What you'll do

• Provide engineering support for the structural and concrete designs ensuring compliance with relevant codes, industry standards. 
• Perform concept studies, including estimating quantities and preliminary designs 
• Perform detailed concrete and steel design, including interaction with Drafters to produce models and documentation in line with QA Compliance 
• Assist with construction enquiries, including safe lifting and erection 
• Interface with other Engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Process and Mechanical 
• Focus on technical innovation and continuous improvement 
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering
• Will have 5-7 years of structural engineering experience, with at least 5 in years in a lead or senior role
• Must be eligible to register with the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration to obtain the Professional Engineer licensing (P.E.); knowledge & experience with Arizona building code is desirable 
• Strong understanding of steel and concrete design for heavy industrial structures. 
• Demonstrated sound knowledge and experience in design/consultancy/operational environments 
• Previous mining or metals industry experience is highly desired 
• Ability to safely and effectively self-manage time, priorities and activities 
• Well-developed communication and negotiation skills 
• Must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship
