Discover opportunities to make a difference at RTX. What You Will Do Provide Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) services for the Program(s). FRACAS provides a systematic means of identifying, analyzing, and resolving the root cause of product defects. Collect and maintain field failure and depot repair data in a FRACAS database. Conduct or participate in Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings to review failure data for trends and program impact to determine if further analysis and corrective action is needed. Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB and Python Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders Determine the root cause of failures and generate the formal documentation (CARs, ECRs, or ECPs) required to initiate corrective actions if necessary. Review corrective action validations for effectiveness to determine if further action is required. Generate final reports detailing analysis results and corrective action implementation. Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders Use technical and analytical skills to solve complex issues Maintain engineering specification (DS, ARD, etc.) & drawing (Schematics & Assembly Drawings) Maintain engineering databases Provide production yield analysis/opportunities Qualifications You Must Have Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session. Must have a minimum of 30 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session. Experience troubleshooting technical issues in an academic or internship setting, or as part of a hobby Experience with data analysis, using tools such as Microsoft Office, Python, MATLAB and/or C++ Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects. The salary range for this role is 42,000 USD - 88,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
