We are seeking candidates interested in part-time\nor full-time paid internship opportunities starting in January 2027 in our Ithaca, NY office. ​ ​ The purpose of our internship program is to\nprovide students the opportunity to fulfill tasks set out by various teams to\ngain valuable experience and insight into the everyday environment of a public\naccounting firm. The internship is a hands-on experience which will\nprepare you for a transition into your career. Responsibilities: · Training\non and becoming proficient in our software (CaseWare and CCH Axcess). · Preparing\n1099s, W-2s, Individual income tax returns, and extensions using a highly\ntechnical paperless computer system. · Gaining\na basic understanding of how tax work flows through the office. · Improving\nbasic organization and planning skills. Requirements Requirements: Accounting\nstudents who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and in their\nsophomore through senior year or enrolled in a graduate accounting degree\nprogram are eligible for this position. Students must be returning to school to\nbe eligible. Strong verbal and written communication skills along with strong\norganizational skills are required. Functional knowledge of the MS Office Suite\nincluding Word and Excel is required. The ideal candidate must be able to meet\ndeadlines, be proactive, and have solid multi-tasking skills and strong\nanalytical ability. Benefits There is a difference among accounting firms.
