POSITION SUMMARY
Start your career in Deloitte Tax through an internship that offers hands-on experience, client service exposure, and insight into the work of tax professionals. As a Tax Intern, you will support teams serving clients across offerings while building technical knowledge through research, collaboration, and technology-enabled work. Work you'll do
As a Tax Intern on the Deloitte Tax team, you will be responsible for supporting client service teams with tax research, analysis, and project delivery.
* Perform tax research and analysis for client engagements
* Assist in evaluating the tax impact of business decisions and transactions
* Collaborate with team members to address complex tax issues
* Support client projects across offerings and develop knowledge of tax considerations
* Use tax, data, and technology tools to support project execution and client service delivery

The team
Deloitte Tax helps clients address business challenges through a broad range of tax services. Teams combine technical knowledge, technology, data, and process capabilities to deliver practical insights and tailored solutions across offerings to help clients evaluate complex issues and improve how work gets done.
Qualifications
Required:
* Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer or Fall 2029 pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, accounting, or a related/equivalent program
* Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required)
* Definitive plans to meet minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure (which may differ from the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam) in the state of your assigned office location prior to beginning full-time employment
* You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required. You can expect to co-locate on average 2-3 times a week with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations
* Ability to attend all in person core programming sessions
* Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
* Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
* Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
* The start date for this position will be in Summer 2028
Preferred:
* Technology-related coursework
* 3.2 cumulative GPA preferred
* Experience through an internship, summer position, or school job

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $25 to $48.
