The Boldt Company, a subsidiary of the Boldt Group
Location: Appleton, Wisconsin
At Boldt, we build more than complex projects, and we build strong relationships, great teams, and lasting impact.
The Union Payroll Specialist I supports Boldt’s union workforce in the Appleton, WI area by helping ensure time, labor coding, rates, per diem, mileage, and related payroll information are entered and reviewed accurately. This is not a traditional full-cycle payroll position. Instead, you will work closely with field employees, foremen, project teams, Labor Relations, HR, and corporate payroll to resolve timecard and paycheck questions while helping employees receive accurate, timely pay.
This is a fast-paced, relationship-focused opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed work, regular communication, and days that rarely look the same. You will join a close, collaborative team that provides hands-on training, starting with payroll data entry and systems before building your knowledge of union agreements, craft codes, wage rates, overtime and double-time rules, and other field payroll requirements. The role is primarily office-based in Appleton, with limited hybrid flexibility potentially available after approximately six months.
If you're a detail-oriented professional looking to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply and start a conversation with us.
