The Universal Banker is an entry-level sales and relationship-banking position. A primary requirement of this role is to actively identify customer needs, recommend appropriate Bank solutions and achieve assigned monthly sales and referral scorecard goals. The Universal Banker also opens and services accounts and performs day-to-day teller work; however, transaction responsibilities do not replace or reduce the role’s sales expectations. Employees in this position are expected to initiate customer conversations, ask for business, follow up on opportunities and demonstrate consistent progress toward individual goals.
