- Hang drywall / sheetrock
- Tape and finish drywall
- Complete painting and interior finishing
What you need
- Experience in framing, drywall hanging or finishing, or painting (preferred)
- Ability to work with your hands and use basic hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a production team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced construction and manufacturing environment
- Show up every day and on time
- Safety-minded
- Available Monday through Friday from a 6:00 AM start and willing to stay until production is completed

URGENT HIRING: Framers, Drywall Hangers & Finishers, and Painters – Scranton, PA
STARTING PAY: $17–$20 PER HOUR* | DAY SHIFT | FULL-TIME | START ASAP
*Pay is $15–$18 per hour base, plus a $2-per-hour attendance bonus. The attendance bonus is earned by reporting to work every scheduled day and arriving on time. It is not guaranteed.
Murphy's Family Staffing is hiring framers, drywall hangers and finishers, and painters right now for a busy modular home manufacturing facility in Scranton, PA. We need these trades urgently and are interviewing now. If selected and you complete the required hiring paperwork, you may be able to start as soon as the next business day.
If you have experience in framing, hanging or finishing drywall, or painting, we want to talk to you.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Framers
- Rough framing and wall framing
- Floor framing and floor assembly
- Roof, ceiling and rafter assembly
Drywall Hangers & Finishers
- Hanging drywall / sheetrock
- Taping and finishing drywall
Painters
- Painting and interior finishing
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in at least one of these trades is highly desirable: framing, drywall hanging or finishing, or painting
- Ability to work with your hands and use basic hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a production team
- Comfortable in a fast-paced construction and manufacturing environment
- Reliable transportation to the Scranton facility
- Show up every day and show up on time; attendance and dependability matter
- Safety-minded
SCHEDULE – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM start. The standard production shift has traditionally been 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; however, production is currently behind and employees must be willing and available to stay until production is completed, currently until approximately 4:30 PM–5:30 PM when required. If you are only available until 2:30 PM every day, this position is not a good fit at this time.
