Vendor Risk Intern - Summer 2027

As a Vendor Risk Intern, you’ll join Rocket’s Vendor Risk Governance team to help make sure the partners we rely on meet our high standards for security, reliability, and compliance. You’ll work alongside experienced risk professionals to perform due diligence on new vendors and keep ongoing watch over our key relationships, and you’ll contribute directly to the team’s top priorities. This is a hands-on role where you’ll support real projects, sharpen your analytical skills, and explore how new technology, including AI, can make risk work faster and more accurate. About the role Support project and change management efforts. Perform gap analysis and contribute strategic recommendations to improve our vendor risk processes Deliver reports, analyze metrics and summarize information to help drive our team forward Help ensure accuracy and completeness in manual processes and documentation Identify and share creative ideas, including new technology and AI-enabled approaches, to improve how we work Assist in creating materials and presentations for meetings Learn about our business by attending meetings, huddles and trainings About you Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (rising Senior) or Master’s degree in Business, Law, or a related field Exposure to legal, compliance, regulatory, or accounting controls concepts through coursework, internships, or projects Experience working in project-based or team-oriented settings Self-directed approach with strong attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, and Word Familiarity with SharePoint Experience with or curiosity about AI tools such as Claude Located within a commutable distance to our Cypress Waters office (Coppell, Texas) What you’ll get Our team members fuel our strategy, innovation and growth, so we ensure the health and well-being of not just you, but your family, too!
