What you'll do
- Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
- Handle animals, perform technical duties, communicate with clients, maintain medical records, and keep work areas and equipment ready.
What you need
- Requires Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification, the ability to handle animals safely and compassionately, knowledge of common disease states, and familiarity with DEA, OSHA, and hospital safety guidelines.
- Education: a professional certificate
