What you'll do
- Assist with actuarial analyses supporting pricing initiatives.
- Gather, validate, and analyze large data sets using actuarial and statistical techniques.
- Support the development and maintenance of actuarial models, reports, and dashboards.
- Prepare summaries, presentations, and recommendations based on analytical findings.
- Assist in evaluating trends related to claims, premium, exposure, and profitability.
- Participate in data quality reviews and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, claims, and other business partners to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging risks.
- Complete special projects and ad hoc analyses as assigned.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, R, Python, Power BI, or other analytical tools is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to be onsite in office 4 days a week
