Where you can THRIVE!\r\n\r\nThe Activities Coordinator, also titled The Active Life Coordinator, is a valuable member of our Petals Memory Care Program which provides our residents with supportive and person-centered social connections to inspire joy, meaningful interactions, and life fulfillment. Some of the elements of our Petals Program include Physical Wellbeing, Creative Arts, Social Connections, Waters Academy, Integrated & Spiritual Therapies and Music & Arts Enrichment. \r\nJob Duties/Responsibilities\r\n\r\nPlay a meaningful role in developing and executing activities which help our residents thrive. Some examples of activities include exercise classes, creative arts, culinary creations, social interactions, personal engagements, off-site excursions, etc.\r\nAssist residents with activities of their choice which may include group activities and/or personal engagements\r\n\r\nQualifications/Skills/Abilities\r\n\r\nA love of seniors and passion for enhancing lives through meaningful interactions\r\nDemonstrated enthusiasm and positive rapport with residents, team members, and families\r\nPrevious experience working with seniors and/or experience in memory care, recreational therapy, education, hospitality, or related areas preferred\r\nThe ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, as appropriate\r\n\r\nThe Waters is an equal opportunity employer proudly committed to a diverse workforce.
