Description

The Administrative Assistant is an employee who performs data entry and other duties assigned. In this role, you will report to the Director of Operations. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Duties/Responsibilities: Assist Director of Operations as directed to include at a minimum: device training, projects as assigned, scanning/faxing, references, data entry Types and designs general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers in a positive and effective manner Attains goals as set forth in annual performance evaluation Submits documentation within required timeframes Maintains strict confidentiality on patient, agency, and employee matters Maintains spreadsheets/logs as requested Cross-trained to assist People Services and other Operations personnel Answers phones as necessary/assigned in a professional manner. Takes messages or fields/answers all routine and non-routine questions Maintains a neat and clean work environment Performs other duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities/Knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer skills with ability to data enter, scan, fax, run reports and utilize other electronic forms Excellent organization skills with ability to multitask Able to effectively deal with change Able to successfully interact with people in face-to-face situations as well as by telephone in a professional and effective manner Possesses excellent problem-solving techniques and abilities Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications: High School Graduate or equivalent Physical Requirements: Requires the ability to write, dictate or use a keyboard to communicate directives Utilizes proper body mechanics in various environments Requires the ability to function in multiple environments due to travel requirements Note: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
