Job Title: Systems Engineer, Associate Job Code: 44700 Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Schedule: 9/80- employees work 9 out 14 days totaling 80 hours worked and every other Friday off.   Job Description: We are seeking a new or recent graduate for a Level 1 Systems Engineer role to support a variety of systems engineering activities, including technical planning, requirements analysis, system integration, verification and validation, risk assessment, and deployment support. In this entry-level position, the candidate will work closely with software, test, and engineering teams to help ensure customer requirements are understood, technical objectives are met, and deliverables are completed on schedule. The role also includes assisting with troubleshooting, documentation, and coordination of multiple system engineering tasks in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.   Essential Functions: Support systems engineering activities across the program lifecycle Assist with technical planning, requirements analysis, and system documentation Support system integration, verification, validation, and deployment activities Work with software, test, and cross-functional engineering teams to help ensure system requirements are met Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and documenting findings Help coordinate multiple engineering tasks to support program execution and schedule objectives Participate in reviews, meetings, and team discussions in a collaborative environment Contribute to preparation and maintenance of technical documents, reports, and presentations   Qualifications:  To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related fieldor have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.   In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $62,000.00 - $115,000.00.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
