Diesel Mechanic / Technician Johnson & Towers Middle River, MD $37.57-47/hr. Johnson & Towers, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a C level Diesel Mechanic/Technician at our location in Middle River, Maryland. This individual must have previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu, Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Autocar, and Crane Carrier to name a few. Physical Requirements Technician roles are physically demanding and require prolonged periods of standing and/or walking. Occasional heavy lifting and pushing/pulling objects weighing up tp 50 pounds (or more) may be required. While performing the duties of this job, the Technician will frequently use hands to manipulate and grasp objects; reach with hands and arms; climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, or twist to perform repairs and inspections. Good vision to inspect repair work and effective communication are essential. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
